On the afternoon of July 1, the first in-person General Assembly was held at the Manzanilla Olive facilities after the group's state of alarm and to which we were already summoned as full members and on equal terms with the other Cooperatives that they already formed this 2nd grade Cooperative.
During the meeting, they gave us a warm welcome to our Cooperativa Virgen de Loreto for the decision to join this project in defense of the Manzanillas and Gordales of Seville and that the benefit of them reaches all the Base Members of the different Cooperatives of the group.
Likewise, the accounts for the financial year 2019 were approved in which the group's turnover has been € 71.9 million, corresponding to the Table Olive section, in which we have integrated, sales of 35 , € 42 million for the 31.45 million kg that have been processed.
Various meetings have also been held with the heads of the different departments of the group: Operations, Cooked, Financing, Field Technicians, Stores and Supplies, Marketing, IT and as well as with the Manzanilla Olive General Director in order to organize the next campaign and make the most of the qualities of our Manzanillas and Gordales.
And as a culmination we share with you the video they made when the “Stay at Home” campaign in the prevention of infections due to the covid-19 pandemic and that shows what the Utrera factory is like and in which the olives from Virgen de Loreto.
