Protected Geographical Indications PGI Manzanilla and Gordal<\/a>\u00a0of Seville have already been officially presented in the distribution sector, in an event organized by the Carrefour center in San Juan de Aznalfarache, the first distribution chain of table olives covered by these PGIs, the Regulatory Council of said PGIs and the Olivaida company SL, the\u00a0first certified company<\/a>\u00a0with these quality marks for these Sevillian olives.<\/div>\n

\"\"At this event, the president of the Regulatory Council Juan Luis Oropesa de C\u00e1ceres, the manager of the Sevillian table olive company, Olivaida SL, Francisco Javier Rodr\u00edguez Rodr\u00edguez, and the institutional manager of Carrefour, ManuelTorreglosa, made the attendees known and consumers, the characteristics and added values of the Manzanilla and Gordal Sevillian olives that carry these Distinct Quality (PGI) marks and the guarantee of origin they offer.<\/p>\n

In this sense, the first bottling company to position its range of products covered by the PGI Aceituna Manzanilla de Sevilla, has been the company Aljarafe\u00f1a, Olivaida SL with its brand La Sabrosita, a small family business located in Albaida del Aljarafe, which from the beginning of the project and he invested all his efforts in a differentiation of the Sevillian table olives, because as his manager, Francisco Javier, points out, \u201cwe have to bet on what is ours, the way is to value our best products and our way of making them, as well as the social economy that involves the management of the traditional olive grove of varieties harvested by hand, such as chamomile and gordal, the dressing industry that makes them and the commercial packaging companies that bet on them \u201d.<\/p>\n

It is the Carrefour chain, as one of the large distributors, which has taken the first step in betting on local products with the maximum guarantees, such as Manzanilla and Gordal Olives from Seville, Protected Geographical Indication, from the Regulatory Council we are delighted to This first great step in the commercialization of our olives, since we are convinced that the Andalusian rural environment and the traditional Sevillian olive grove, have a central role due to their ability to generate employment and wealth, and form part of the identity and history of all those who we inhabit it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
